Mr. Cenk Aydin, a Turkish-British International Banker and Entrepreneur, is the Principle Owner and Chairman of Lara Holdings and Investments BV.
Mr. Aydın started his career at Citigroup as a Global Management Associate in New York. He took on several Global Strategy leadership roles, until he became a senior banker covering Power, Energy, Chemicals and Mining Sector across EMEA region. Later in 2007, Cenk joined the Bank of America as its Chief Operating Officer for the Global Transactşon Banking Group within the Corporate and Investment Bank for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He then served as Head of Corporate Segment and Strategy at JPMorgan for EMEA.
Throughout his banking career, Cenk provided consulting services to the world’s largest multinational corporations, while formulating global expansion strategies for key businesses of the world’s largest three banks.
Mr. Aydin was named a Young Global Leader, one of the top 100 Global Leaders in the world, by the World Economic Forum in 2010. He currently serves on the President’s Advisory Group of the EastWest Institute in New York, Board Member of Relief International and trustee of Teach-A-Man-To-Fish.
He studied Public Policy and Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School of Government and holds an MBA from University of Miami and a BA in Economics at the Koc University. His personal interests include cross-border business expansion strategies for financial services.
