YB Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong’s academic achievements include a B.SC MGT. Science at the London School of Economics; two MBAs at the City University in London; and an LLB (HON) at the University of East London.
His most notable posts to date are: Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Malaysia; National President of Parti Gerakan Rakyat, Malaysia; and Member of Parliament of Teluk Intan.
Currently, he is the custodian of several posts. As Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department, he has had his hand in several endeavours in the Innovation Agency Of Malaysia (AIM); Malaysia Nuclear Power Corporation (MNPC); Malaysian Industry-Government Group For High Technology (MIGHT); Penang Hindu Endowment Board; and Welfare Of Chinese Petty Traders And Hawkers.
Other previous positions held by him were: Deputy Minister of Agriculture & Agro-Based Industry between 2006 -2008; Deputy Minister of Ministry of International Trade & Industry between 2004 – 2006; Member of Parliament, Teluk Intan between 1999 – 2008; and State Assemblyman, Pasir Bedamar between 1995 – 1999.
