Managing Director, Business Council for Cooperation with Malaysia (Moscow, Russia)/ former Vice President, SUN Group, India
Lydia has over 15 years of professional experience, both in civil service and in the private sector, in Europe, the United States and emerging market countries such as India and Russia. She started her career at the Russian Ministry for Foreign Affairs after graduating from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University). As Vice President at SUN Group, Lydia was responsible for strategic communications, public relations and philanthropic activities at the office of the Vice Chairman of the company, Shiv Vikram Khemka. SUN Group is a family-owned investment company, headquartered in New Delhi, focusing on emerging markets while working across sectors varying from aerospace, renewable energy, oil and gas, mining and infrastructure to real estate and the food and beverage industry. Lydia studied Essentials of Management at the Aresty Institute of Executive Education at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and received her MBA from the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo. She is currently pursuing her PhD in History of International Relations from MGIMO University, and working towards bringing the business communities of Russia and Malaysia closer. Lydia speaks Russian, English and Hindi.
